BLOCK CAPTAIN MEETING SUNDAY MAR. 8: I am having a Block Captain meeting this Sunday at 4pm at my house, 5438 Aucilla Creek Lane to answer questions, give forms & instructions, and make sure we are all squared away. I am inviting John Schmarkey too. I took this on to help Dave Parker get it going. If any cannot make it please notify me.
ASSIGNMENTS: Most have 8 to 10 homes. If it's too many I have Bernie Polentz willing to take some for those who have 12-13. He lives near Aucilla Creek Lane- Broad Creek-Dry Fork Creek. Check your mailboxes tomorrow for a packet. Please use the attached form to visit your homes, and take the Directory form which I will leave with you tomorrow. If you have not attended any COPS meetings before and are a new block captain, please do not visit homes until you come to Sunday's meeting at my house or call me at 770-879-7338. I do not have any of the COPS folders- John Schmarkey and Dave Parker have them.
FORMS: During visits, you will bring auto decals, COPS form, and a Directory form. 'HOA' stands for Homeowner's Assoc., i.e. the SRAA.
Keep the original COPS Participant Form, and get a copy of the side with the email to me by the end of March please. (I have a copy machine at my house if you need to make copies.) The SRAA is having a joint COPS & membership meeting the last Sunday in March at 3pm. NOTE: Directory form prints on legal size paper but regular paper will do too. Also, turn in Directory forms to me as you get them, please. You may leave under my front doormat or in mailbox. All information on these forms is to be confidential, held by you and is not for general distribution.
AUTO DECALS: If your residents have autos without decals, bring Windex and towel and put the decals on yourselves or assist them right then and there, if they give permission. When we first did decals, many residents lost all the stickers and some put on wrong place. It is best to get it done while you are there. Decals go on rear window, low on driver's side. Decals are free.
DIRECTORY FORMS: This one time, I am also giving you a form for the Directory. Please give a copy of the form to every household on your list, explaining to the newcomers what the Directory is. Take your 2006 Directory with you if possible. I am deeply grateful that you are doing this to help me.
